About

The Australian Financial Review has been called "the daily habit" of business leaders and managers.  CEOs have cited the paper as being as much a part of their education as any degree or textbook. In a world of increasingly fragmented information, I find it an excellent aggregation of information that affects those making decisions in this commercial game so many of us play.

This blog is to reflect on trends and snippets that are of interest to me and organisations in which I participate.  As to what those interests may be, you can peruse my history and current details on my LinkedIn account.

DISCLAIMERS

This is me and Copyright
These are my personal views and do not reflect the views of organisations to which I am associated.

I am not associated with the Australian Financial Review. I just like the paper.
Content
I focus on news and change related to organisations and those working within.  I often skip over whole topics where they talk about making policy for months or years before anything happens. Case in point: the Carbon Policy which I was reading about way back in 2006 when I worked in the public sector's environmental arm.
I also appreciate numbers applied in a practical setting, such as financial reporting from companies, population statistics, and social survey results.

Frequency and consistency
I try to send these out daily but it may skip occasionally depending on my time.  I reserve the right to get consumed by work or take a holiday and pause for a few days or weeks.  I may or may not catch up and back date articles.
